The Greater Victoria School District #61 is looking to hire a 0.571 FTE (TEMP) Hair Certification Program 12 teacher at Victoria High School from September 1st, 2025 to June 30th, 2026.
The Greater Victoria School District provides public educational services to over 20,000 students in the Greater Victoria area, encompassing six municipalities. To provide this service, the District has a current operating budget of $260 million and employs approximately 3,500 staff which includes teachers, principals and vice-principals, support staff, psychologists, speech and language pathologists and exempt managerial staff.
Job Description and Requirements:
- BC TEACHER CERTIFICATION- Secondary
- ITA Hair Stylist Certification
- ITA Hair Stylist Trainer Certification or “in progress”
- Teach ITA Hair Stylist 12 Program (2 Blocks pm in Sem 1 & Sem 2)
- Must be certified to issue ITA Red Seal Certification

This position falls within the GVTA Collective Agreement with a salary range of $61,901 to $109,812 per year.
