Registration: 3 Easy Steps
1. Is it the right time to register?
- Online registration for Late French Immersion (Grade 6) opens at 8:00 am on January 27, 2025 and closes on January 31, 2025.
2. Do you know which school your child will attend based on your home address?
- Determining your catchment school is an easy and important step before you register.
- Each home address within our District is associated with an elementary, middle, and secondary school.
- Visit the School Locator Tool to determine both your English and French catchment schools.
- Note that your French Immersion catchment school may differ from your English catchment school depending on your residential address.
- French Immersion is offered at four of our ten middle schools: Arbutus, Central, Lansdowne, and Shoreline.
3. Do you meet the requirements?
- Your child is entering Grade 6
- Proof of citizenship: one of the following documents is required for your child:
- Birth Certificate
- Passport
- Immigration Canada document
- Certificate of Citizenship or Permanent Resident Card
- Proof of residential address: two different documents are required that provide proof of address.
