The new year is approaching fast—and soon parents will register their children for kindergarten or start planning their transition to middle and high school. Here are a few important dates to note.

Elementary Schools of Choice Registration

School of Choice Registration takes place right after winter break from January 8—12, 2018. There are two schools of choice in our District, Cloverdale and South Park.

Early French Immersion Registration

Early French Immersion Registration (Kindergarten & Grade One) will take place between January 15—19, 2018. Registration must occur in person at your French Immersion catchment area school. Families who register during registration week will have priority for placement.

Kindergarten Registration & Kindergarten Transfer Week

Kindergarten Registration week happens between January 29-February 2, 2018. Registration must occur in person at your catchment school between 8 a.m.–3 p.m.  Kindergarten Registration will be processed on a first come first served basis in accordance with our Student Enrolment Priorities.

There will be a Welcome to Kindergarten Information Session on January 17, 2018, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at S.J. Willis (923 Topaz Ave).

Late French Immersion Registration

Late French Immersion registration will occur from January 29—February 2, 2018.  Late French Immersion is for grade six students.

A Late Immersion Parent Information Session will take place on January 24, 2018, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at S.J. Willis (923 Topaz Ave).

K-12 Transfer Week

The K-12 Transfer week and all new grade 1-12 registrations for the September 2018 school year will take place between February 15—23, 2018.

Students must apply for Transfers at their current school while new students must register at their catchment school.

Changes to Student Enrolment Priorities & Proof of Residency Requirements
