Late entry to French Immersion is offered to any student entering Grade Six. It is a District program and is offered in five Middle Schools. Transportation is the responsibility of the parents.
Please note: A Late French Immersion Parent Information Session will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2018, from 6:30 p.m.–8:30 p.m. at S.J. Willis (923 Topaz Avenue).

Applying to register in Late French Immersion
To apply to enroll in Late Immersion, visit the preferred French Immersion School during Late French Immersion Registration Week (January 29 – February 2, 2018). There you will be invited to complete a Late French Immersion Application Form indicating your preferred school and any other school(s) you would be willing to attend. There are no designated catchments for entry into Late French Immersion.
Families who apply to register during Late Immersion Registration Week have priority over later applicants for placement. Applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis according to the following priorities:
- In District Sibling
- In District
- Out of District Sibling
- Out of District
Should demand exceed capacity at any school, families are waitlisted on a first come, first served basis according to the Student Enrolment Priorities.
Families will be informed of placement by the end of March at the latest.
Continuing in Secondary French Immersion
