The WorkBC Find Your Fit Tour is coming to Glanford Middle School

Students dreaming of a job in the tech sector, medical field, or trades can learn more about the skills that will connect them with their ideal career.

VICTORIA, BC —The WorkBC Find Your Fit Tour is coming to the Greater Victoria School District. Hosted by Glanford Middle School, district students grade five and up will have the opportunity to learn new skills and explore in-demand career options.

The hands-on program is designed to help youth apply real life experiences to their career planning. The tour allows students to jump in and learn the skills required for highly sought after jobs across the province. Interactive stations will be set up for students to try out the skills needed for careers in different fields such as technology, welding, carpentry, accounting and more.

The two-day event will take place Thursday, January 26 and Friday, January 27 for students and teachers. Parents and families are welcome to attend Thursday, January 26 from 3 p.m.—7 p.m.
