GVSD Student Connect allows students in Grade K – 8 to create digital portfolios that can be shared with their parents and teachers. Students can upload files from their local file system or select files from their Google Drive to attach to artifacts in their portfolio. Students can upload content for new posts they wish to share; or in response to activities defined by their classroom teachers.
Student Connect also allows students in Gr. 9-12 to review privacy information and choose which online digital services they consent to using. Students should review their current consent items at the start of each school year. New items can be added at any time (for example if a student needs access to a service in Gr. 11 that they did not need previously). Consent can also be revoked at anytime.
Student Connect replaces the previous online consent tool used by secondary students, which was just for G Suite account renewals.
