REGULATION 6160.1

TEXTBOOK ALLOCATION

1. Principals are responsible for ensuring that students will have textbooks.

2. Annual textbook allocations will be based upon enrolments and the implementation of new curricula.

3. Secondary schools may levy a returnable textbook deposit, the amount of which will be set at a Superintendent’s meeting of principals.

4. Secondary schools may submit fines to the district office and, in turn, have their textbook credit increased by the amount submitted.
