BACKGROUND

The intent of Regulation 1160 is to create the greatest possible openness consistent with the effectiveness of Greater Victoria School District employees. The public has the right of access at any reasonable time to any document which has been presented before an open meeting of the Greater Victoria School Board, or before an open meeting of a standing committee. The same right of access applies to any School District document printed by statutory requirement.

Additional information concerning School District affairs should be made available in the spirit of Policy 1160.
