Decades in the making: Greater Victoria elementary schools mark significant milestones

Elementary schools in the Greater Victoria School District are preparing to commemorate anniversaries that have been in the works for many years. From a silver jubilee to a centennial, two schools will be holding celebrations before the end of the year to honour significant milestones.

On the heels of Reynolds High 50th Anniversary and Lambrick Secondary’s 40th Anniversary, Cloverdale Traditional and Rogers Elementary are now getting ready to ring in big birthdays. Cloverdale will recognize 100 years and Rogers will celebrate its 25th anniversary. Special events will be held and open to all members of the public to help the schools mark their great achievements.
