Victor School

The Board of Education passed a motion at the Monday, February 25th Board Meeting, directing administration to remove Victor School as a proposed catchment school from the boundary review process and to provide alternatives to address capacity concerns across the District.

Pilot Bussing Program

The Board has written a letter to the Victoria Regional Transit Commission in support of the planning underway with Esquimalt and Songhees Nations for a new pilot bussing program. The pilot program would provide all secondary school students living on the Esquimalt and Songhees Nations a universal bus pass. The pass would apply to approximately 70 First Nation students in grades 9-12 that attend Esquimalt High, Spectrum, and Vic High.
