At its January 20, 2014 meeting the Board of Education of School District No. 61 (Greater Victoria)  passed the following motion:

“That the Board of Education of School District No. 61 (Greater Victoria) approves the consultative process to consider the relocation of the Sundance Elementary School program and closure of the current facility effective July 1, 2014.”

The following public consultation meetings will be held:

January 29, 2014
7:00 P.M.
Public meeting to receive input on the possible relocation of the Sundance  Elementary School program and the closure of the facility to be held at the Sundance Elementary School gymnasium.

Tuesday,
February 18, 2014
7:00 P.M.
Public meeting to receive input on the possible relocation of the Sundance Elementary School program and the closure of the facility to be held at the Sundance Elementary School gymnasium.

Tuesday,
March 4, 2014
7:00 P.M.
Public Board Meeting to deliberate and make the decision regarding the relocation of the Sundance Elementary School program and the closure of  the facility effective July 1, 2014.

Staff, students, parents and community members are encouraged to attend the meetings at the school. The consultative process timeline can also be found on the District website.
