The Greater Victoria School District is focusing on workplace safety during North American Occupation Health and Safety week (May 7 – 13). Employees and partners will discuss best practices along with the importance of preventing injury and illness in the workplace.
Created by the Canadian Society of Safety Engineers, this key observance celebrates its 20th anniversary and encourages grassroots efforts at every organization in all industries to bolster workplace safety. The Greater Victoria School District supports this mission and invites employees to share their knowledge and experiences with fellow colleagues. The public is encouraged to share positive examples of workplace safety online using the hashtag, #NAOSHweek.
