Looking to register a new student over the summer?

Greater Victoria Schools will reopen for registration from August 28 to September 1, 2017, between the hours of  9 a.m.—1 p.m. daily.

In order to register a new student, you will need to provide a birth certificate and proof of residence. Students will need to register at their catchment school. To determine your catchment school please use our school locator tool: www.sd61.bc.ca/schools/school-locator/

If you are looking to register for a program at S.J. Willis over the summer, please see the following below.

S.J. Willis Education Centre

• Alternative Education: Registration begins August 28.  Please call 250-360-4300 for a registration appointment.
• Continuing Education (Adult Education): Registration begins August 22.  Please refer to the website for class start dates. Continuing Education classes begin Tuesday, September 5 (regular classes) and Monday, September 11 (self-paced classes).
• Home Learners’ Link /The Link: Registration begins August 28.

First Day of School

The first day of school is Tuesday, September 5, 2017.

Elementary, Middle and Secondary schools will have students meet and attend at various times on the first day of class. Please see the school opening schedule for specific details.

Please note: Kindergarten start times vary from school to school. To confirm the first day of Kindergarten please visit your school website. As well, the first day of school for students attending Alternative Education at S.J Willis will be September 8, 2017.
