New Families to Canada are Invited to a Community Event on Tuesday, May 7, 2024

Families are welcome to attend and learn more about the Greater Victoria School District and its partners.

We are looking forward to welcoming new families to Canada on May 7 and provide an overview of the Greater Victoria School District. The event will be held in the Neighbourhood Learning Centre at Victoria High School (1260 Grant Street) in Fernwood from 7:00pm to 8:00pm.

Navigating a new school system in a new country can be overwhelming if you aren’t sure where to start. We hope this event provides families with an opportunity to connect with other families in similar situations, as well as a chance to ask questions of District staff and local community partners.

Refreshments will be provided as well as activities for school-aged children. We hope to see you there!
