Early Learning
Children are always curious and begin learning from the day they are born. Young children learn through play, so providing time and space for play every day supports a child’s development and learning.
The Greater Victoria School District is committed to providing rich, stimulating learning opportunities for young children in our community:
StrongStart (Pre-Kindergarten for Children Under 5)
- StrongStart is a free drop-in program that assists parents/caregivers to set their children up for success prior to Kindergarten
- Registration is required before booking a visit
- There are six StrongStart centres in the Greater Victoria School District
