Hello Cedar Hill Middle School Families,

I am writing this email to update you about Thursday’s return to school for our Cedar Hill students.

For Thursday, students will be meeting at the north field on Cedar Hill Road beside the new school which is across from the former public library. There will be many staff members there to greet students. We will be taking attendance first, followed by talking to the students about the exciting new school as well as the plan for Friday.

Please review the map that is attached to help navigate the three ways to get to the field. Please remind your students to walk safely and to be mindful of the changes to the walking paths. We ask that families drop off on Garnett Road, not Gregory Road. We will not have use of a full parking lot or a full drop-off zone until the old Cedar Hill school has been taken down and the parking lot is completed.

The final inspection of the brand new school happens on Thursday morning, so we are very excited to be welcoming everyone to the new school year!

As I have stated before, we are all extremely grateful for all of your patience and flexibility as we prepare for the opening of the new Cedar Hill Middle School.
