Mini Trades is a 2 day program focused on exploring 5 different trade areas through hands on learning. Trade areas include carpentry, sheet metal, welding, electrical and painting. This program is hosted at one of our secondary school shops. Students work on projects using various hand tools and machinery, learning the function and safety of each. Each student completes a project to take home at the end of the two days. At the end of the program students visit an operational work site learning about the various trades at play.
Students are also introduced to trade programs and opportunities currently offered in our secondary and local post-secondary institutions.
