Ready, Set, Learn: Paving a successful learning path from preschool to kindergarten

VICTORIA, BC – The Greater Victoria School District and Victoria Early Years Centre welcomes preschoolers and their families to attend a free community dinner. The Ready, Set, Learn community gathering focuses on ‘Learning Through Play’ and is geared towards families with children between the ages of three and five. The goal is to support families in helping their children get ready for school and lifelong learning through everyday activities and play.

The event will take place Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Saanich Neighbourhood Place located in Pearkes Rec Centre from 5 p.m.—7 p.m. The dinner will be followed by a variety of stations hosted by professionals and organizations who work to support children in the early years. The stations will include activities for preschoolers, as well as, information for parents to take with them. There will also be free bus tickets available for families after dinner.

Tuesday, April 25, 2017, from 5 p.m. —7 p.m.
Dinner will be served from 5 p.m.—7 p.m.
