2012 Canwest Spelling Competition

On Thursday, January 19th, 20 classroom finalists converged in a battle royale for the ages. After 15 gruelling rounds, two GMS students emerged victorious. They are Alex from C-3 and Gurman from A-3. These two students have now won the opportunity to qualify for the Regionals at UVIC, where the winner takes home a $5,000 cheque. Not too shabby!

Mr. L would like to congratulate everyone who entered the contest. Stay tuned for more throughout the year!

Your Favourite Holiday Snapshot
