At Frank
Hobbs we are so fortunate to have a spacious, well-stocked, user friendly library
for the enjoyment and learning of all students!
Our teacher librarian,
Mrs. Nancy Taylor, and our library clerk, Mrs. Shelley Rowe, are
continually making purchases of new books for the enjoyment of all students and
staff. Mrs. Taylor works in our school on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Mrs.
Rowe is here on Wednesdays only. Both of them invite you to drop in and browse
the shelves.
Parent volunteers are always welcome in the library to
help with shelving books, creating displays, and the like. If you would like to
become a library volunteer, please contact Mrs. Taylor at the school (250-477-1804).
Please look for information in our school newsletters informing you
of the dates of our annual Scholastic Book Fair which takes place for one week
every November. This is a very popular event with students and their families.
This fundraiser provides new books for our library and for every classroom in
the school! Don't miss it!
