French Immersion Registration Week is January 30 to February 3, 2012

Registering during Registration Week is important. Families who register by Friday, February 4 have priority for placement.

If a student is registering for the first time in Immersion at Kindergarten, Grade 1 or Grade 6 level, parents need to register.

Kindergarten and Grade 1 registrations for Early Immersion are accepted on a first come, first served basis beginning Monday, January 30. To register go in person to your Immersion catchment school, http://www.sd61.bc.ca/earlyFIreg.aspx, Registrations are accepted according to the following priorities.

1. in catchment with a sibling at the school
2. in catchment
3. out of catchment/out of district with a sibling at the school
4. out of catchment but unable to access catchment school
5. out of catchment
6. out of district.

Applications for Grade 6 Late French Immersion are also accepted on a first come, first served basis beginning Monday, January 30. Late Immersion has no catchments. To apply to enter late French Immersion, go in person to your preferred school during Immersion Registration Week and complete a Late Immersion Application Form.
