- Q. What are the computer requirements for using this site?
- A.   In order to access your account we recommend that you use Internet Explorer (Windows XP - IE 6.0 SP1 or higher, Windows 2000 - IE 6 SP3 or higher, Windows 98 - IE 6.0 SP1), Firefox (Windows - 1.0.3 or higher), Safari (Macintosh OSX - 1.2.4, Macintosh OSX 10.4 - Safari 2.0)
Please access the link provided to update your browser to the latest version of Internet Explorer.
- Q. How do I log on?
- A.   If you are a regular user of the SD61 network, use your SD61 network Username and Password to enter Employee Services or Outlook Web Access.
If this is the first time that you have logged in to the SD61 network, you must first change the password that was assigned to you. To do this, click on “CHANGE PASSWORD”. Please note that your new password will then be in effect every time you log on to the SD61 network.
Check to make sure that your CAPS-LOCK key is not set because your Password is case-sensitive.
If you are still having problems logging on, you can phone (475-4188) or email the Help Desk (helpdesk@sd61.bc.ca).

- Q. I can get into Employee Services but I can’t get at my email.
- A.   The entry to “My Email” only applies to people that are currently on District email. Not everyone in the District has District email.
- Q. Where can I find guides for using ADS on the web?
- A.   The ADS WEB Guides are found on the ADS web page listed under each employee category.
- Q. Where can I find guides for using Job Postings on the web?
- A. 947 User Guide and Teacher User Guide
- Q. When I click on “Support Links” and then “Online Help” it asks me to log in but my Username and Password doesn’t work.
- A.   At SD61, please contact the Help Desk.
- Q. When I try to log an absence it says I’m at the wrong school/hours/job.
- A.   Contact Human Resources through the Emergency Line (475-4126) and they will help you.
- Q. When I try to log an absence it doesn’t list any time or location details.
- A.   The system may not know what your hours/location are. Click on “Add Schedule”. You will be able to enter your Position, Location and the Start and End Times.
