Early French Immersion Registration
Any student entering Kindergarten or Grade 1 can attend Immersion in Greater Victoria.
French Immersion is a District program and is not offered at all schools. Transportation
is the responsibility of parents. No prior knowledge for French is expected or required.
To register, go in person to your Immersion catchment school. Families who register
during registration week have priority for placement. Since Immersion is a district
program, space is not reserved for catchment families that might arrive later in
the year.
Like English, access to Early Immersion is by catchment. If you don’t know your
neighbourhood school, use the "School
Locator" on our District site.
