1:00 - Coaches Meeting for coaches who need help
1:30 - Gr 6 Boys - 1. 5 km ( one short loop)
1:35 - Gr 6 Girls- 1. 5 km ( one short loop)
1:55 - Gr 7 Boys- 1. 5 km ( one short loop)
2:00 - Gr7 Girls- 1. 5 km ( one short loop)
2:20- Gr 8 Boys - 2km - ( one full loop)
2:25 - Gr 8 Girls - 2km - ( one full loop)
2:45 - Gr 9-10 Boys- 4 km ( 2 full loops)
2:50 - Gr 9-10 Girls- 4 km ( 2 full loops)
3:15 - Gr 11-12 Boys- 6km ( 3full loops)
3:20 - Gr 11-12 Girls- 4 km ( 2 full loops)
Course Description Mostly gravel trail, some chip trail, two good hills per loop( see map below text)

Pre registration is NOT necessary - just arrive on time for the coaches meeting

Entry Fee TBA- for non LIVSSAA schools to cover costs of the company doing our results
Awards

Team Scoring: first 4 on a team to score ( must be in the same age category)
Second 4 from same school to score as "B" team.

Awards: Top 15 individuals in each category receive place ribbons
Top 3 teams in each category receive team ribbons ( to the 4 scoring team members)

Uniforms Athletes must compete in school, not club uniforms

12:30 Race package and number pick up:
1:00 - Coaches Meeting
1:30 - Girls Race - 4.5 km
2:00 - Boys Race - 6.7 km
2:45 - Awards at Beaver Lake park

Registration

Entries are due by noon on Wendesday October 20.

Do not fax entries, Entries must be typed and sent by email to Island zone rep Keith Butler at    kbutler@oakbay.sd61.bc.ca

Important:
Entry info needed includes grade, gender, name and school.

Entry Fee $3 per athlete payable to Oak Bay Secondary ( you must pay for each runner you register as we are charged a fee per registered runner by the company doing our results
Awards Awards Ceremony at Beaver Lake following the race
Medals to the top 4 team ( 5 to score, 7 to displace)
Perpetual Trophy to winning teams
Eligibility Athletes must meet all BC School Sports eligibility requirements.
Schools and athletes must be registered with BC School Sports.
BC School Sports rules prohibit athletes in grade 7 or lower from competing
BCSS registration deadline is October 8, 2010
Uniforms Athletes must compete in school, not club uniforms
BC Championship
Qualification

The top 20 individuals overall, plus the top 4 teams ( maximum of 7 athletes) advance to the Provincial Championships from both the boys and girls races. The first five runners will score for their school team for the purpose of qualifying for the BC High School Championships.

Registration for the B.C.’s must be done at the awards
reception following the race ( at Beaver Lake ). The fee is $15.00 per athlete.
(Maximum is 7 per team). Make cheques payable to Oak Bay Secondary
