Secondary School Information Nights
This is the time for current grade 8 students and their parents/guardians to plan for their future and make decisions about secondary education. Our seven secondary schools look forward to welcoming you to their Information Nights in January.

This is the time of the year for current grade 5 students to plan for three exciting years at middle school level (grades 6 to 8). Students and their parents are invited to attend our Middle School Information Nights in February

National Philanthropy Day Award Winners!

The staff and students of Oak Bay High School are proud to announce that they will be the recipients of the Secondary School Youth in Philanthropy Award for 2009 from the National Philanthropy Day Committee.

History in the Making
ANED is proud to announce that Ms. Anne Tenning, teacher at Vic High, had an article published in a special interactive issue of "Teaching Canada’s History"” magazine called: History in the Making: The stories of residential school survivors are powerful teaching tools for teachers and students. In 2008 Ms. Tenning also received the Governor General’s Award for Excellence in Teaching Canadian History.
